About East Oahu Sun

East Oahu Sun was first published as the East Honolulu News in 1987 as a free community newspaper for residents of the Waimanalo, Hawaii Kai, Aina Haina, Niu Valley, Kahala and Kaimuki neighborhoods of Oahu. For many years it was available locally in a print edition throughout the Honolulu area and later online as a digital edition through the main site. East Oahu Sun officially ceased publication in 2012.
